MCF established an Endowed Chair in Sustainable Marine Fisheries at TAMUG in the Marine Biology Department. In 2007 Dr. Jay Rooker was named the beneficiary of this endowment to TAMUG. The proceeds from the endowment support Dr. Rooker’s research, teaching, and professional development in the field of marine fisheries.
